OSS means many things to many people. OSS IS also a term frequently used for Open Source Software, but in this instance we are referring to Operational Support Systems - Tools used to manage customers, services and infratructure. It covers a multitude of skills and tools and definitions vary based on which vendor or company you speak to. There is a greying of the terms around OSS and BSS (Business Support Systems) as more vendors broaden their product ranges and for that reason we are not exclusive of any Telecoms IT Technology.
